Grounds for Annulment
ROME--The Vatican dissolved marriages for the first time last year on the ground that one or both partners were drug addicts or alcoholics.
Decisions by the Roman Catholic-Church's court of appeals for marriage trials, the Sacra Rota Romana, were disclosed in the annual Vatican report on the activities of the Holy See.
