NEW YORK, N.Y.--Using male and female mice, two scientists paved the way for a biochemical study of one of the less obvious differences between men and women--their drinking behavior. On the whole, the woman's reaction to alcohol has seemed less volatile. Heretofore it has been attributed to social factors which restrain womanly behavior.
