About Alcoholism - Alcoholism Information, Research and Treatment
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J.--If you drive at night and are sober, beware of drinking drivers. If you drive during the day and aren't sober, beware of nondrinking drivers. That's the advice of Richard Zylman, associate research specialist at the Rutgers University Center of Alcohol Studies. The bare conclusions from his detailed studies of Grand Rapids, Mich., data are that the drunken driver is a greater danger to others than to himself at night, hut a greater danger to himself during rush-hour traffic.
