About Alcoholism - Alcoholism Information, Research and Treatment
ZURICH, SWITZERLAND--The young, new drinker with hostility and alienation is the most dangerous driver, a study in the U.S. has found. The research team reported to the First International Conference on Driver Behavior here. About 300 experts from more than 30 countries attended. Almost everywhere, younger drivers were found responsible for many or most accidents; half of all deaths of men under 25 were due to crashes. In English-speaking countries, half of all fatalities on the road were alcohol-involved.
