No Respecter of Age

Alcoholism is a more serious problem among the aging than is generally recognized, a psychiatrist who has served as a consultant in a New York City nursing home contends.

But, says Sheldon Zimberg, MD aging alcoholics generally are more amenable to treatment than younger addicts.
