SACRAMENTO, CALIF.--It will be a misdemeanor to give five ounces or less of candy, cake, cookies, or chewing gum that contains more than 2% alcohol to any person under age 21 beginning Jan. 1, under a law signed by Gov. Edmund Brown Jr.
