Joseph Farrell of Toronto pleaded guilty to robbing a gas station at the point of a bayonet. The holdup was not without difficulty. The court was told that Farrell's mind was so "clouded" by intoxicants that when he wore a pair of women's shorts over his head as a disguise, he stuck his face through one of the leg holes and was later readily identified by the cashier.
