A Believer in Possibilities

There it sits, all quiet and tucked away between disaster and recovery, and you would be amazed how long it took me to see it.

I'm talking about the Second Step: "Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity."

First off, I didn't think I was insane. I had been to psychologists since I was nine years old. They said I was brilliant, clever, funny, and if I was a little high strung, a tad too emotional, I would get over it. They never said "insane."
