It Takes What It Takes

In 1974 I went to my family doctor in La Jolla to get my annual checkup. He asked if there was anything new that he needed to know about me, and of course I lied and told him I felt fine. (Constant anxiety, nervous stomach, and hangovers were all normal to me in 1974.) Then I thought for a moment and realized that for the past few months every time I'd reach for a cup of coffee in the morning my hands would shake pretty good. Could he explain what was happening?
