AA comes to the rescue after a stressful flight.

I was not accustomed to flying sober, and it had been a long trip. I was spending the night in a Chicago hotel. Arriving in my room, I discovered that my luggage and everything in it was wet from rain—my fancy cowboy boots, my leather vest, even my carton of cigarettes. I called the airline, the airport and anyone else I thought would care, and it seemed that no one did. I hadn’t been out of rehab very long, and I was hungry, angry, lonely and tired. The noisy bar downstairs was calling to me, as by now it was cocktail hour, my most difficult time of day.
