When I was drinking, I loved to get a bunch of us drunks riled up about the fact there was no God. Being an atheist, I loved challenging religious people to prove there was a God. They had no tangible proof, unlike the evidence of evolution. The debate was always good for a few hours of fired up conversation.
Then came the day I was summoned to attend four AA meetings per week. I came to your meetings, though I was totally clueless about the disease of alcoholism. I had a nursing degree but must have missed that part on alcoholism.
