Twenty-five Years of Hope

The year 1991 marked the twenty-fifth anniversary of AA in Malta, even though there had been an AA group in Malta prior to 1966. Rosalie G. was the wife of an RAF doctor who was posted in Malta in 1963. Only six months sober, she realized she could not maintain her sobriety alone. She soon found two other alcoholics, Mary and Christina, and they formed a group, meeting once a week in Mary's house in Sliema. The group was registered at the General Service Offices in New York and London.
