September 2012: The Promises in Reverse
I have been struggling with recovery since 1991. But here I am with 93 days of sobriety. I've come to believe that any and every time I've relapsed it's because I failed to grow spiritually. So now I have three home groups. It feels good to be involved in AA. So I came up with this:
If we are NOT painstaking about this phase of our development, we will be drunk before we leave the parking lot. We are going to know a new pain and a new misery.
