When Hurricane Sandy hit the New Jersey shore many of our meeting places were either destroyed or displaced. And because we had no electricity for weeks, our neighborhoods were under a curfew and we were not allowed to go out on the streets after dark.
So a group of us got together and put the word out about a “pre-curfew” AA meeting in my backyard (above).
