India's Gandhi Dance

India may adopt prohibition. Then again, it may not. In honor of Mahatma Gandhi, who was death on firewater, 1972 has been chosen as the starting date for enforced abstinence. This reflects present esteem for the late, venerable Gandhi, but provides a time lag during which the idea of complete prohibition for India can be repudiated.
