The writer of “Calm and Quiet” tried everything...gardening, daily readings, washing dishes, even. But he still struggled to get quiet and connect with an Eleventh Step practice that worked for him. 

One day, a coworker invited him to yoga and he discovered that it mirrored things he learned in AA. It helped him find the calm and quiet mind he had been looking for.
