Thank you for your recent cover story about recovery for those with special needs (September 2010). I work with an underserved population, deaf adults, and appreciate those who understand that some people may have difficult challenges, but all can benefit from working the Steps.
Many of the people I work with have been deaf since birth or early childhood. They use American Sign Language, rather than English, as their primary language. I’m happy to see more and more meetings offering sign language interpreters. When other members are... Login to read more
