That quote, taken from the promises section in the Big Book, couldn’t be truer for this “road warrior,” currently enjoying a 6:20 a.m. flight, clear eyed and ready for another sober day. Somehow, in just over two years, I’ve gone from white knuckling my business trips, to being cool, calm and collected, accepting each new day as the gift it is.
