Nonalcoholic members may represent AA in public
Class As Michele Grinberg and John Fromson.
Two new nonalcoholic (Class A) trustees have been appointed to the General Service Board of AA: Michele Grinberg, J.D., of Charleston, W.V., and John Fromson, M.D., of Waban, Mass.
Michele, an attorney, has experience in health care policy, employment relations and the workings of non-profits. She was the principal author of 2008 West Virginia legislation that permitted physicians and others to voluntarily work on their own alcohol and other substance abuse recovery without disciplinary action from their licensing boards.
