Mail Call for A.A.s at Home and Abroad

SOME months ago an A.A. group was formed in Belfast. Having read something of the aims and ideals of A.A., as existing in America, I was sufficiently interested to become a member, although not at all optimistic as to the probabilities of good results. For over 30 years, hard drinking had been my only ambition, and as a result my affairs generally were in such an untidy mess that sorting them out seemed an impossibility. Nevertheless I joined A.A.! 'Twas a step taken very much in the dark, but probably the only one that I have ever taken in the right direction.
