IN a recent Grapevine article, the 12-Step Program of Alcoholics Anonymous was suggested as an answer to many of the world's problems. And indeed it would be if it could be followed successfully by the masses.

However, not everyone is as fortunate as the alcoholics (I do mean "fortunate") in being able to derive all the benefits that are made possible through accepting this way of life.
