A safe place
War broke out Wednesday. I was numb. Thursday and Friday I was despondent. Saturday I went to a rally. I felt I had to do something, and lo and behold, there were other AAs there. That made me feel better, and doing something made me feel better. During the Vietnam war all I did was drink.
