Another Gripe: Color Bar?

AFTER what all of us alcoholics have been through, must we still have someone to look down on? It sometimes seems that way.

If you've strayed very far down the road of alcoholism, you're certainly aware of the psychological and social consequences involved. Our alcoholic behavior was socially unacceptable in most cases; therefore, society was hostile. Very often we became isolated from our families and communities. Feelings of guilt and remorse produced further undesirable behavior.
