MY NAME is George, and I'm an alcoholic. That's the standard beginning for every AA talk I've ever heard. "I'm Joe, and I'm an alcoholic." "I'm Bea, and I'm an alcoholic." "I'm Billy, and I'm an alcoholic." We're all alcoholics. This admission is vital, for it keeps us honest and keeps us aware of who we are and what we must do.
