Whether we're new or old in the program
WHEN I FIRST came into AA, I used to wonder about those speakers who would say, "You people helped me to get sober and taught me how to stay sober, one day at a time. And I am grateful to all of you." And I'd think, "What a bunch of malarkey! I never saw you before. You were sober five years before I came here."
