A Power of Example

BACK WHEN I was sober about a year, I was faced with the prospect of being unemployed, and I was feeling very sorry for myself. Not too long before, I had been unemployable, an outcast, and finally a welfare client. Since joining AA, I had been gainfully employed for better than a year. I had also been attending meetings regularly, had a sponsor, and had even started working some of the Steps.
