The Self-pity Express

The Home Group

I recently had an involuntary learning experience in AA--the kind I hate. Some time ago, a fellow AA and I started an early morning group. Visitors often noted how comfortable the meetings were--how polite and respectful members were of each other. I felt good about this haven for us super-sensitive alcoholics, and I often contrasted it with less enlightened meetings in the area.
