In These, Our Times!

DENNIS PATRICK McG. of Washington believes that our lifetime will go down in history as the "Psychiatric or Pyschopathic Age." He points to the rise of psychiatry as a profession; to the glib use of such words as "fixation," "complex," and "repression" in almost any ordinary table conversation; and the appearance on Best Seller lists of such book titles as "Peace of Mind," "How To Stop Worrying and Start Living," as well as other indications that this generation is hell bent on looniness.
