Twelve Points to Assure Our Future

Over the years I have found that few members take the time to try and understand the Twelve Traditions. Their importance is grossly overlooked. Some members state that the Traditions are to the group what the Steps are to the individual. I disagree. In my opinion the Traditions are to the individual what the individual is to the group. If the Traditions mean little to the group, in all probability, the group will mean little to the individual.
