How Much AA Is Enough?

Four members explore an unanswerable but interesting question. . .

THIS discussion about "Old Timers" is both amusing and pathetic. According to the basic philosophy of AA there are never, nor can there be, any "Old Timers." We all subscribe to the theory and proven fact that basically the only difference between one member of AA and another is one drink--the time consumed in one heartbeat; so the only time element is one second.

True enough, some of us have been around AA for a longer period of man-measured time than some others and on this is hung the "Old Timer" title.
