A Day In AA

When I came to Alcoholics Anonymous I was told that I needed to attend ninety meetings in ninety days. I thought there was no way I could sit through ninety meetings in ninety days. How boring! And now, eighteen years later, I am still an active member of AA, and I've just gone to thirteen AA meetings in one day! We call this expedition A Day in AA. It started three years ago when a couple of friends were sitting around the Santa Fe group talking about the different club houses in Oklahoma City and saying, "Wouldn't it be interesting to see how many AA meetings we could really attend in one day?"
