Seeking Through Meditation

When I realized that these words from As Bill Sees It applied to me, I also realized that it was meditation itself that I knew least about. I had misunderstood and neglected this Eleventh Step because I did not know what meditation was. I did not know that meditation meant awareness, attention, listening. For a lifetime of drinking, I had not wanted to listen, especially to the self within.
