An offer of thanks behind bars

Most alcoholics have lost something. For years, losing was all many of us knew. We lost family and friends, opportunities and careers; and we lost our health and self-respect. Some of us even lost our lives. We lost it all to the bottle. So, once we finally put a cork in it, what do we have left? In my recovery, answering the question, "What's left?" is what life is all about.
