The Associated Press reported from Knoxville, Tenn. that a patrolman sought to arrest a man for drunkenness. The man had a dog with him. The dog bit the cop, the man then, following the dog's lead, bit the cop. The man-sized bite was worse, according to the officer, who testified in court that the dog bit him on the leg, "but when I got him in my cruiser he (the man) nearly bit my finger off."
