Upper-Class, Low-Bottom Drunks

In a paper presented at the 17th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Psychomatic Medicine, three physicians called attention to the plight of upper-class alcoholics--so neglected in research and in professional literature that many people may think them nonexistent. All three authors have had ample opportunity to observe their subject, through their association with the Silver Hill Foundation, New Canaan. Conn.: John S.
