New Training Program Ready
CAARD (Counselors on Alcoholism, Addictions, and Related Dependencies) has completed plans on its program for the certification of trained specialists in substance-abuse problems.
CAARD is a nonprofit foundation established in 1967 in California, where it maintains its national headquarters. Affiliate groups are being started in California and other states. CAARD co-sponsors training programs in various colleges and universities.
