A. A.'s Country-wide News Circuit

"Class groups as such do not seem to thrive," the Grapevine's reporter from the East Los Angeles, Cal., Group concludes in telling how that Group, although small, is contacting many people of Spanish-American ancestry with some good results. "We have a large Mexican population, about 300,000, in the area and they have about the same ratio of alcoholics among them as any other class or nationality. The A.A. approach is difficult, due to many factors, but we keep pitching," writes the correspondent. One three-year member is now living in Culican, Sinaloa, Mexico, and is trying to start a group there.
