A.A.'s Country-wide News Circuit

The Polk County Group, composed of A.A.s from Lakeland, Mulberry, Bartow, Winter Haven and Lake Wales, Fla., feel they have something novel in the way of meetings. John G. wrote to the Rome, Ga., Group and asked that they put on the program, which they did by letter. Different members of the Rome Group explained different Steps, and after the letter was read there was a general group discussion which lasted three meeting nights. Our reporter, who lives in Lake Wales, reports only four members there. They have group meetings Thursdays and then go to Bartow for the Polk County meeting. By next spring each town hopes to have its own group but it will have the county group as the "parent."
