Women A.A.s Meet Monthly

Women alcoholics in the Kansas City, Mo., Group are now holding monthly meetings at group headquarters for the purpose of making it possible for new members to meet most of the women members, who now number 54. These meetings supplement the central neighborhood discussions and the social meetings but are not offered as a substitute for them. Sessions are informal, but a carefully planned program is presented, followed by an open discussion in which new members are urged to participate. Subjects discussed deal with phases of the A.A. program and problems peculiar to women alcoholics. Attendance has been good and it is felt the meetings have a definite place in the Kansas City program.
