Let's Go Shopping

"FROM little Mabel K. of St. Louis comes an article entitled "Shopping"--One of these days I must go shopping. I want to exchange some self-righteousness I picked up the other day for some humility which they say is less expensive and wears better. I want, also, to look at some tolerance which is being much used this season. Someone showed me some very pretty samples of peace; we are a little short on that, and no one can have too much of it. And, by the way, I must try to match some patience that my neighbor wears. It is very becoming to her, and I think it will look well on me. I might try on the garment of long suffering that they are displaying now. I never thought I wanted to wear it, and I must not forget to have my sense of appreciation mended and to look around for some inexpensive goodness. It is surprising how often one has to take stock."
