Mail Call for A.A.s at Home and Abroad

I KNOW that the things that are happening to me every day in A.A. amount to far more than just maintaining my sobriety. It seems that all of my life I have been waiting for ships that never came in. Living A.A. has taught me to clear the harbor of my soul of all the derelict and phantom hulks of ships, to clear away all the driftwood and debris and now at last my ship has truly come to port. I am now able to feel the joy of giving--especially of myself, for the giving's sake. I am learning with each 24 hours of sobriety to realize my own place in the universal plan, and thus I am able not to just be humble, but to feel humility. I find that by living and working in A.A. I not only keep my sobriety but I keep my own soul's harbor clean so that my beautiful ship may have clear passage to and from the Infinite to bring me its cargo of ever renewed treasures.
