A.A.'s Country-wide News Circuit

Sponsored by the five Lake Wales members of the Polk County (Fla.) Group, a successful open meeting was held in Lake Wales January 22 for --as the local paper expressed it --"drinkers, non-drinkers and curiosity seekers." Approximately 75 guests and members from Lakeland, Winter Haven, Bartow, Mulberry, Tampa, Daytona Beach and Wauchula attended. The Lake Wales correspondent reports that the meeting brought one recruit and the possibilities of two more. The Polk County Group, with which the Lake Wales members are affiliated, now numbers more than 30 members.
