A Diminishing Growth

"UP in Milwaukee there is an organization called 'TOPS,' which stands for 'take-off-pounds.' This is a fast growing women's group in which its members use the methods of Alcoholics Anonymous to keep one another on their reducing diets. At the club's second meeting members recorded a total loss of 29 pounds. Now, after three months, the membership has jumped from three to 100. The women exchange menus and oversized clothing, but diet under doctor's supervision."
