Mail Call for A.A.s at Home and Abroad

WITHOUT God we can do nothing. Prayers have value and are tremendous but on the other hand, without our aid will God do anything? In the sense that even He will not invade and coerce the privacy of the human will, only with proper understanding of the term, should we keep insisting that alcoholics are sick people. Repeating the phrase too often or too impartially may cause the alcoholic to condone himself too readily and imagine his recovery must come completely from outside himself. It may also cause his family and friends to become unwisely lenient and overly sentimental about the whole Problem.
