Mail Call for A.A.s at Home and Abroad

I WOULD like to thank the sister of "Mac," whose letter appeared in the December issue of The A.A. Grapevine, for one of the happiest combinations of words I have seen in a long time. They give encouragement to one who has had trouble making the Program. She says in part, "has attended a few meetings but so far has not entirely grasped the Program." Don't give up hope. You have only attended a few meetings. You may not realize how many people are behind you in this thing; how much help they can and will give you if you give them half a chance. Give us a little more time. Come to some more meetings; hear some more experiences. Perhaps you will hear someone speak who was far more hopeless than you; someone may say the very words that will make sense to you and suddenly all the pieces of the puzzle will fall into place. "So far" isn't the end. Go farther and you, too will find peace of mind.
