Must We Throw Flying Lizards?

I STOPPED butting my head against the stone wall only after a full year of knowing about A.A. but not getting in touch with them--for all the standard reasons--even after I knew something had to be done. From what I hear, many others continue to shy away, months and years, from inquiring even deeply enough for the general idea. And we all seem agreed that our lifeline is that helping hand to those still in the squirrel cage, who really want the way out.
