Excellent Results in Most Cases

HAVING served as judge of the Municipal Court of Kansas City, Missouri, since 1940, the original efforts of the Kansas City AA Group came to my attention almost as soon as the group was formed in 1941. Together with my colleague, Judge Edmund B. Smith, I had been endeavoring to find a more satisfactory method of handling the many cases involving intoxication in public. Our daily court dockets in each of the two court divisions included from 20 to 50 of such cases.
