A Happy Aftermath

ED G. was a lonesome man. He had been in AA a few months. Now he was in a new city without a friend, without an acquaintance and, worst of all, without a single AA. The few months of sobriety that Ed had in AA were the happy aftermath to years of drinking and disillusionment. He liked this new way of life.
