Southern AA

I didn't find AA easy. It was very complicated. Now, my AA is as simple as I can make it. My aim is to live honestly and decently, to the best of my ability, before God and man and to practice tolerance, love, understanding and humility in all my dealings with my fellowman. At first, I could not understand why just living the Twelve Steps as best I could, should bring me so much happiness; happiness that I felt was unearned. Then I realized that I was responsible for effort only. . . .not for results.
