--Every One Hath a Revelation--

AROUND Thanksgiving, 1944, while still in the throes of a six week drunk, I asked the friend who had previously brought the book, Alcoholics Anonymous, to me to let me take it again. While I was trying to read it I admitted to God that I had made a mess of my life and asked him to take over the show. Since that admission and prayer, I have not had alcohol in any known form.
